Re-Clads
Recladding is a chance to upgrade. We can replace your current cladding, windows, and roof with like-for-like materials, or we can use the opportunity to totally change your building’s architectural style.
Either way, there is a strict processes in place to get the existing structure compliant with the current building codes before any new cladding is installed. All of this necessary work will need to be certified by a registered building surveyor. Generally the building consent processing and onsite inspections are more thorough than the standard.
Landscape
Under the Building Act, the property owner is legally responsible for applying for a Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) to finalise a building consent. While builders typically manage this process, for smaller projects, you may need to handle it yourself.
The sheer volume of required documentation, and the many acronyms involved, can be overwhelming. This is where we step in. We can coordinate all necessary paperwork and manage the entire CCC application process right through to approval
A Certificate of Acceptance (CoA) is required for restricted building work that has been completed without a building consent. The scope of work necessary for this process is determined entirely by the complexity and extent of the non-compliance.
Getting signoff for your Resource Consent conditions can fall through the cracks as the building process is not linked with the Resource Consent. It requires seperate inspections and paper work. Unfornuately it will come to a head later down the track, either through council monitoing or during the sale process.
